A Forged Steel Lift Check Valve is a self-acting non-return valve that automatically prevents flow reversal. Unlike swing check valves, the lift check design uses a guided piston or disc that "lifts" off the seat when upstream pressure overcomes the weight of the disc (or spring tension). This design is exceptionally reliable for high-pressure steam, air, gas, and liquid services where rapid closure is required.
